What is Art.a.ma.jig?
Art.a.ma.jig combines the culinary and fine arts for an enjoyable evening that raises money for the Arts & Education Council of Chattanooga.
The highlight of the event is the silent art auction that includes over 50 works by local artists. All pieces have been created especially for this year's event theme: fortune.
In addition, some of the most talented chefs in our area will provide their favorite dishes, paired with wines from Riverside Wine and Spirits.
Since its debut in 2003, Art.a.ma.jig has raised nearly $100,000 for AEC programs, enabling the organization to continue its mission to provide unique opportunities for lifelong learning and participation in the arts for all members of the community.
Thanks also to Adams Lithographing, Artech, Baker Donelson, Miller & Martin, PLLC, Starkey Printing Company and Tanner Hill Gallery.

Comments
Artamajig Of the many organization fundraiser held each year, Artamajig is one of my favorites. Low-key, great food, great wine, and great art all to benefit an organization, the AEC, that does so much (with so little) to help with arts & culture education in greater Chattanooga. When you have a school system as dysfunctional as ours, it's orgs like AEC (and PEF, CHC, and CDM etc.) that pick up the slack.
